Joey (also known as Joey the Calf ) is a calf that was seen in the Back at the Barnyard episodes "Escape from the Barnyard," "War of the Pranks," "Meet the Ferrets," "School of Otis," "Dummy and Dummier," "Kids in the City," and most recently, "Robo Peck." In "Escape from the Barnyard," it's believed that the Farmer was about to eat Joey,abby,and bessy, so Otis places himself in what he thinks to be danger to rescue the calf. In the end, it turns out that Joey was being de-loused. In "Robo Peck," he created a new way to make peanut butter at the school's science fair by saying, "Smashy smashy," which was later used to have Peck's cyber suit removed.

He is voiced by Rob Paulsen.
